Request account deletion

School accounts are created by the school office, not by public self-signup in the app. You can still request that we delete an account and the personal data linked to it.

How to request deletion

1. Email sunrisepublicschool005@gmail.com with the subject Account deletion request.
2. Include the student’s or staff member’s full name, SUID or employee number, registered mobile or email, and whether you want the app login removed, the school record removed, or both.
3. A parent or guardian must send the request for a child under 18.

You can also use the Delete my account option inside the Pathshala app (it opens this same request), or visit the school office at Thakurgaon, Near Bank More, Ranchi Road.

What we delete

• App login credentials and the sign-in token stored on the device (also removed when you log out or uninstall).
• Contact details used only for the app (mobile, email) where the school is not required to keep them.
• Optional items such as a gallery photo, if you ask us to withdraw that consent.

What we may keep

Indian school and tax rules require us to keep some education and fee records after a student leaves. We will tell you if a legal retention rule applies to part of the request. We do not keep the account for advertising.

Timing

We aim to complete or reply to deletion requests within 30 days of receiving enough information to identify the account.
